I just found out about the "Show or Hide updates troubleshooter", which I'm going to try next. Now, I've already tried several things to prevent this. My question would be, how can I update everything else but prevent the graphics driver from updating? I don't think the install is complete because my magic mouse and apple keyboard still don't work in Windows afterward. I don't believe the install finishes before rebooting and I have to go back into safe mode to roll back the graphics driver again. I've previously tried to run the windows bootcamp support assistant to install all other updated drivers, but this in turn also updates the graphics driver which causes issues. Now I've been able to install Windows 10, boot to the desktop and temporarily stop windows update from updating the driver to an unsupported driver long enough to troubleshoot.
I recently installed Windows 10 Home using bootcamp and have run into several issues.įirst, the main issue is that the updated driver for my graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 3000) is not supported for Windows 10 in bootcamp.
